ProfitRecon (“we”, “us”), operated by PayoutRec, provides a payout reconciliation tool for Shopify merchants. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Shopify store data. With your authorization (read_orders scope), we read order data from your Shopify store: order numbers, dates, totals, refund amounts, and financial status. We request read-only access and never modify your store.

Settlement files you upload. The TikTok Shop settlement CSVs you upload, containing order identifiers and payout amounts.

Authentication data. Shopify session tokens needed to keep your app session secure.

How we use it

We use this data solely to match orders to settlements and present reconciliation results to you. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data sharing

We do not share your data with third parties except infrastructure providers strictly necessary to run the service (hosting and database), and where required by law.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your data while the app is installed. When you uninstall, your Shopify session is removed. You may request full deletion of stored order and settlement data at any time by emailing hi@payoutrec.com; we will comply within 30 days. We also honor Shopify’s mandatory data-erasure webhooks.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
